Co-developed by independent developer Timelock Studio and Serious Sam 4 developer Croteam, Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem is a standalone expansion which continues the adventures of ‘Serious’ Sam Stone. Both companies have confirmed plans to release this chapter onto Steam from 25 January 2022, and is an unusual case of a modding team receiving support of the developer to offer their project as an official paid expansion.
In Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem, players will make their way through the vast Russian landscape in five new missions set – taking them across Arctic coastlines, desolate forests, abandoned villages, and a chilling ghost town. In addition to the new environments and missions, a new set of dangerous foes and bosses join the Horde including what has been described as “some of the most advanced and intimidating creatures the hallowed FPS series has ever seen”. New weapons and vehicles suiting the environment will also be available.
Serious Sam fans can now pre-order Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem on Steam from today, priced at $28.95 AUD or local equivalent. Those who own Serious Sam 4 will be eligible for a discount on both pre-order or post launch releases.
