A short while ago, Nippon Ichi Software gave new life to two of their classic games – Phantom Brave and Soul Nomad & the World Eaters – with the release of Prinny Presents NIS Classics Volume 1 exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. This was not a standalone collection release either, with NIS America confirming plans for a first-half 2022 release of a second volume.
Prinny Presents NIS Classics Volume 2 will again be a two-in-one package, this time featuring two games which have never left the original hardware they were released on. This includes Makai Kingdom’s previously Japan exclusive enhanced PSP port Makai Kingdom: Reclaimed and Rebound and the also PSP exclusive Zettai Hero Project: Unlosing Ranger vs. Darkdeath Evilman.
These are two great options which will surely be worthwhile additions to the collection of any RPG fan, especially the former. But the big question is who they are bringing in to voice Makai Kingdom’s English dub… as… nobody can beat legendary voice actor Crispin Freeman as bad-ass freakin’ overload Zetta.
