With Square Enix’s recent release of NieR Replicant 1.22474487139 last month, you may be itching for another dive into the creative world from the mind of Yoko Taro. You will fortunately, not have to wait much longer. Square Enix and Applibot Inc. will be releasing the Japanese smartphone game NieR Re[in]carnation on iOS and Android devices in the near future, and have opened up pre-registrations on the App Store and Google Play right now. Pre-registrations cover North American, European and Korean versions of the game.
By reaching 300,000 pre-registrants, all players will receive 3,000 gems upon the game’s release, which will grant them one additional pull of the game’s 10x summon gacha roulette. The value of the gems is currently unknown.
Additionally, those who pre-register via Google Play will be in the running to be randomly invited to an upcoming Closed Beta test. More information on this is expected to be confirmed at a later date.
NieR Re[in]carnation is an action command RPG for smartdevices, developed by Applibot with Yoko Taro as creative director, Keiichi Okabe as composer and Yosuke Saito as producer. It tells the story of a girl who awakens in a mysterious place known as The Cage. Guided by a creature who calls herself Mama, the girl sets off on a journey through The Cage to reclaim what she has lost and to atone for her sins.
