Europeans Can Now Save Virtualand in Neptunia Virtual Stars 1

Following the game’s North American release earlier in the week, Idea Factory International has rolled out their music-based RPG spin-off game Neptunia Virtual Stars onto the PlayStation 4 in PAL territories.

This new adventure developed by Compile Heart and published by Idea Factory International takes place away from the traditional realm of Gamindustri, and instead transports players to the world of Virtualand. It is here where Neptune, Blanc, Vert, Noire and the V-Idols will set out to save Planet Emote from the Antis, and rescue Vtubers.

Moving from tradition, both PlayStation 4 and Steam versions of Neptunia Virtual Stars will only offer the game’s original Japanese audio with English subtitles. The Steam version will also offer Japanese and Traditional Chinese subtitles. Whether this is purely due to the COVID-19 pandemic or an ongoing change is yet to be determined.

Neptunia Virtual Stars is now available digitally and physically on the PlayStation 4 in North America and PAL regions. A Steam version for the PC will also be available from 29 March 2021.

About Neptunia Virtual Stars

Enter Virtualand – a digital world that exists alongside the networks of various dimensions. Within Virtualand lies the planet Emote – a planet faced with extinction due to the maleficent group of Content destroyers known as Antis.

In an act of desperation, the Digital Goddess of the planet Emote, Faira, sends a distress signal to other dimensions in hopes to find a savior of this planet.

And the saviors that were reached? The rising Vtuber stars, Me and You, members of MEWTRAL, as well as the Goddesses of Gamindustri: Neptune, Noire, Blanc, and Vert!

Can MEWTRAL and the Goddesses band together and save the planet Emote from complete destruction?
