While we are still waiting for that next mainline RPG in the Hyperdimension Neptunia franchise to be released, developer Compile Heart and western publisher Idea Factory International are pushing ahead to begin releasing games in the series exclusively on the PlayStation 5 in 2021.
The first next-generation release will take the form of Neptunia ReVerse, an updated and enhanced port of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 (PS Vita), which in itself was a remake of the series’ very first game (PS3). Neptunia ReVerse will be available both physically and digitally in both North America and Europe at a date yet-to-be-confirmed next year. It is due to release only on the PlayStation 5.
