Code of Princess to Leave Nintendo 3DS eShop At Month's End 1

While many gamers and developers over the last couple of years have moved from the Nintendo 3DS to the almost equally portable Nintendo Switch, the Nintendo 3DS eShop and its library of titles remain accessible for gamers to purchase from should they choose. Given the decline in the availability of physical copies in 2020, digitally is the only way to acquire many great games from the past decade. That library is due to be down one game from tomorrow evening, with ATLUS West confirming their 2012 release of Agatsuma Entertainment’s Code of Princess will no longer be available.

No reason was provided for this sudden decision.

The game remains available on the Windows PC via Steam, having been ported over and published by the team at Degica. There is no indication that this version will be discontinued. The significant difference between the versions, outside the capabilities of each platform, is that ATLUS West’s release offers an English dub which is purportedly of very high quality.
