Two Point Hospital to Launch on Consoles in February 2020 1

As someone who for many years aspired to have a career in the medical system, but for a number of reasons decided to go down a different path, the small number of hospital simulation games on the market have helped me live out my aspirations. While for many years that fulfillment was provided by Bullfrog Productions’ 1997 Theme Hospital, in more recent years it has been succeeded by Two Point Studios’ 2018 release of Two Point Hospital on the PC. Serving as a spiritual successor to the former and involving some of its original creators, Two Point Hospital balances the challenging hospital sim with a level of absurdity through unique illnesses, treatments and services that it was a real blast to play.

While Simulation games to me are almost always best played on the PC with the combination of a keyboard and mouse, early next year there will be an opportunity for console-oriented players to try their hands at hospital management. Two Point Studios and publisher SEGA have confirmed that Two Point Hospital will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch starting 25 February 2020.

Two Point Hospital will be available for purchase psychically and digitally through each platform’s respective digital store front. For those who like to digitally pre-order their games, you can now do so on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and will soon be able to on the Nintendo Switch.

About Two Point Hospital

Build your epic healthcare empire in the atypical world of Two Point County, by customising your hospitals, researching (119!) unusual illnesses, curing patients and training staff. At launch, Two Point Hospital on consoles comes with the first two critically acclaimed expansions ‘Bigfoot’ and ‘Pebberley Island’, which gives players a total of 21 regions to explore. To ensure the best gameplay experience across all platforms, Two Point Studios have rebuilt the PC control scheme for console gaming which guarantees smooth play for both on the go and on the couch gaming.
