Good news has recently been announced for Final Fantasy fans who love the music the franchise offers. Square Enix have confirmed that Abbey Road Studios will be hosting a special one-off concert which features music from the long-awaited RPG Final Fantasy XV.
To be held on Thursday 8th September 2016, this one-hour concert will be broadcast from Abbey Road Studios’ ‘Studio One’, and will feature a selection of songs from the game’s soundtrack. These songs will be performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and will also feature a special appearance from composer Yoko Shimomura.
But you don’t need to worry about being in a completely different country or continent. This entire event will be livestreamed – although in Australia it might not be at a time welcoming for those who need to work the next day. The show will begin at 4am AEST and 6am NZST on Thursday 8th September 2016

With so many iconic recordings taking place here over the years, performing the music for FINAL FANTASY XV in the very same recording studio is a huge honour for me and for everyone involved. I am excited to be able to collaborate with Abbey Road Studios for this performance and to share the music of FINAL FANTASY XV with everyone. I hope that music and videogame fans around the world can tune-in and join me for this incredible experience
