2016 is the five-year anniversary since the North American debut of Nihon Falcom’s The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. As they celebrate what seems to have been a strong series for them, XSEED Games have shared new information and assets pertaining to the Trails games soon to be available for purchase in North America and PAL regions. This includes the first English-language screenshots for The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II (PlayStation 3 / PlayStation Vita), and an announcement of their plans to localise The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 3rd. The latter is a continuation of the saga which began with Trails in the Sky and was followed up by Trails in the Sky SC.
In terms of sales, XSEED Games have also confirmed that among all English releases of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC, and The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel, they have seen a combined total of more than 350,000 units sold.

These last five years have been quite an adventure for us. While we’ve had our share of struggles with the series in regards to its often lengthy and arduous localization, I can say with confidence that what we’ve achieved far outweighs any hardships.
