NIS America to Open Pre-Orders for Stranger of Sword City Limited Edition in European Markets Next Week

-

unnamedPutting some attention towards the PAL region release of Stranger of Sword City, Nippon Ichi Software America have announced that pre-orders for the game’s limited edition will begin via the NISA Europe Online Store starting December 17th 2015 at 12PM BST.

In addition to a copy of Stranger of Sword City on the PlayStation Vita, this limited edition collection will also include: a 18.5″ x 26″ poster, a 108-page deluxe softcover art book (8″ x 11″), 2-disc soundtrack and a collector’s box. Pricing is not currently known, however the North American store lists it at $59.95 USD, compared to the standard edition which is priced at $39.99 USD. The contents between the US and PAL limited edition sets are seemingly identical, apart from the region of the game.

Stranger of Sword City has been developed by EXPERIENCE, the same team who have worked on Demon Gaze and Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy. This new title plans to take a more Western approach to the traditional dungeon crawler, and seeks to infuse the game with dark fantasy themes, new gameplay elements, and the ability to compete with fellow players through a leaderboard system. It is at its core a game about death and fighting against vanishing forever. You will discover new meaning in the choices you make to survive against all odds. You will define yourself by the lives of those you leave behind, by the people you align yourself with, and the experiences you have on each new venture into the dark labyrinths that threaten to trap you.

Stranger of Sword City is set to launch on the PlayStation Vita starting 22nd March 2016 in North America and 25th March 2015 in PAL regions.
