Sony Computer Entertainment Australia and Naughty Dog Team Up to Auction Signed 20th Anniversary PS4 Console in Aid of Youth Cancer

-

Sony Computer Entertainment Australia have today announced their plans to auction a rare 20th anniversary PlayStation 4 console which has been signed by the “top dogs” of Uncharted franchise developer Naughty Dog. The money raised from this auction will be in aid of ‘You Can’, Sony Foundation’s youth cancer project.

Money raised will go towards Sony Foundation’s national youth cancer project, You Can. Through You Can, Sony Foundation is building much needed, specialised youth cancer centers across Australia which aim to improve survival rates of young cancer patients by facilitating the collaboration of medical experts, development of specialised treatments and the opportunity for young people to be amongst peers in an age appropriate environment.

– Official Press Release

The 20th Anniversary PlayStation 4 console is already rare, with 12,300 consoles in existence, only 150 of which were available in Australia. This console is set to be even more unique, featuring the signatures of Christophe Balestra (Co-President of Naughty Dog), Evan Wells (Co-President of Naughty Dog), Neil Druckmann (Creative Director) and Bruce Straley (Game Director).

The auction is set to open in February 2016, in the lead- up to the launch of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
