Following its release on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Xbox One gaming platforms earlier this year, Koei Tecmo have announced plans to bring Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires onto the PlayStation Vita portable gaming system. The launch will not be too far away either, with a November 25th 2015 release date currently confirmed. Unlike the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One editions of DW8E, the PS Vita edition will only be available for purchase digitally through the PlayStation Store.
Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires puts more emphasis on controlling the destiny of China and introducing custom elements into the game world compared to the core numbered Dynasty Warriors titles. In addition to 83 characters, it is also possible to create original characters through the Edit Mode, then further customise game elements including horse designs, banners and “normal” officers. DW8E also introduces the Custom Scenario mode, granting players even more ways to control events in a brand new Three Kingdoms world.
Koei Tecmo Games have mentioned that there will be some PlayStation Vita specific features introduced in this upcoming release, and will be sharing more specifics on them in the coming weeks.
