Akiba’s Strip Now Available on PS4 in Australia and New Zealand

-

Publisher Nippon Ichi Software America and their regional distributor Bandai Namco Games Australia have confirmed that Akiba’s Strip is now available on the PlayStation 4 in both Australia and New Zealand and retail. This will be followed up by a digital release on the PlayStation Store starting next week.

Similar to the original PS3 and PS Vita edition, Akiba’s Strip tells the story of a young man who is lured into a trap with a promise of rare character goods. This trap sees him transformed into one of the walking undead, doomed to walk the streets of Akihabara looking to convert others for his master. However, he was spared the worst of his fate by the bloody kiss of a mysterious Synthister hunter named Shizuku. Together with the rest of his companions in an organization unofficially dubbed the “Akiba Freedom Fighters”, Nanashi and Shizuku must uncover the truth behind the Synthister plague and save Akihabara from being overrun by violent, antisocial energy vampires.

Akiba’s Strip on the PS4 receives a number of improvements including the Toybox Mode where you can start the game with one of every since weapon and clothing item in-game (However trophies are disabled), a visual editor which allows you to change the aesthetics of your game through blurs, blooms, fogs, RBG changes etc, livestreaming features and other improvements you would expect from a console generation jump.
