Were you planning to do some shopping on the EB Games Australia website this weekend? Better head to your nearest store as the retailer has confirmed that their website will be down until 12:01 AM AEDT on Monday December 8th 2014. Why? They are purportedly “preparing” for their once-a-year Mad Monday sale.

Running for a full 24 hour period, EB Games claim that they will have over 5,000 products on sale, including “mammoth savings so hot they will only be while stocks last”. These sales will be extending across video games, loot, consoles, bundles and other major brands. Some of the top deals they are promoting include:

  • Xbox One with Kinect + 7 Games + $20 Xbox Live credit for $599
  • PlayStation 4 Black + 8 Games for $698
  • GTA V Next Gen on PS4 & Xbox One $71 each – Very Limited, Save $28.95
  • FarCry 4 from $53 – Save Over $30
  • FIFA 15 from $51 – Save Over $35

In addition to major sales, they have mentioned that there will be half-hourly deals on titles such as Pokemon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire and Shadow of Mordor.

Debra McGrath | National Brand, Events and Engagement Manager for EB Games

This year Mad Monday isn’t just about our out-of-this-world deals on games and consoles. The record number of products featuring loot, apparel and toys is like nothing on earth; there’s something for everyone. Last year we sold out of our major sale lines, and it’s going to be even bigger this year with our brand new 30 Minutes of Madness.

Adrian McKenzie | E-Commerce Manager for EB Games

Our team are that confident Mad Monday orders will be in the hands of our customers before Christmas, that we’re offering a $20 EB Games Gift Card if it’s not at their door before the big day. Our Mad Monday is the one place to grab your brand new console before Christmas.
