One of the very first choices you make when starting up Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth is if you’ll follow the Persona 3 or Persona 4 protagonist. While S.E.E.S. and the Investigation Team do ultimately end up joining forces, the storyline does differ depending on what set of characters you choose to begin with.
The latest English-localized trailer for Persona Q highlights the Persona 4 side of the storyline. During Yasogami High School’s culture festival, the Investigation Team find themselves trapped inside an alternate version of the school, where a large ominous bell stands over the grounds and sections of the building provide shadow-filled labyrinths Persona-users can summon Personas in. From there…. they meet a group of Persona users (S.E.E.S.) from years ago who find themselves also trapped in the school… and a mysterious duo who have lost their memories.
Available exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS, Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth is set to be published in North America from November 25th, 2014.
