After the announcement being leaked yesterday, Square Enix have announced that Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will be released in North America on March 17th 2015, March 19th 2015 in Japan and in PAL regions beginning March 20th 2015. Previously released exclusively in Japan, this HD release will be available on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
More excitingly for those who like myself have waited almost a decade to play what was once known as “Final Fantasy Versus XIII“, the publisher has confirmed that a downloadable playable demo if Final Fantasy XV will be included with Final Fantasy Type-0 HD on both consoles. Titled Final Fantasy XV -Episode Duscae-, this demo includes elements from the opening sections of the full game, but alters story progression and more to create a unique first-play experience.
Both the game and the demo will be priced at $59.99 USD at launch.
