Japanese Publisher CyberFront Close Their Doors

-

It is always sad to see a video game company shut their doors, especially when they are responsible for a number of major IP’s for their particular region. Following the closure of developer Neverland last month, Japanese video game publisher Cyber Front recent confirmed that their operations have now ceased after a long and extensive history in the market since 1998.

Their most recent release was The Walking Dead on the PS3 / PC earlier this month, with their potential final release being the upcoming Playstation Vita exclusive dungeon crawler Tokyo New World Record: Operation Abyss, set for release a month from today.

The company has held Japanese rights to a number of international IP’s such as the Portal and Skullgirls, in addition to some Japan-exclusive titles including the Princess Maker series.
