While Despite Fan Demand There Remains No International Release, Sega Confirm Japanese “Playstation 3 The Best” Edition of Yakuza 5

-

Yakuza5It has been almost a year since Yakuza 5 first hit store shelves in Japan, and despite numerous fan requests internationally SEGA have yet to confirm any plans on localizing a series they have always in the past chosen to work with. But for those who have given up hope and don’t mind the potential language barrier, acquiring the Japanese edition of Yakuza 5 (Ryu ga Gotoku 5: Yume Kanaeshi Mono) will be a lot cheaper from December 5th 2013.

This is because a year after its launch, Sega will be launching a “Playstation 3 the Best” edition of the game to the Japanese market, with a price tag of just 3,390 yen. “Playstation 3 the Best” editions are similar to the “Greatest Hits” range over here, featuring some of the consoles best games at a fraction of the original launch price.

Of course, there is still the option of begging Sega until something comes out from their international divisions in terms of launch plans. Wishful thinking? Share in the comments below.
