Over the course of the 3-day EB Games Expo earlier this month, Ubisoft Australia commissioned artist Garry Donnellan to paint a large canvas at their booth, on display for all to check out its progression. This portrait artwork, featuring the protagonist of Assassin’s Creed IV, Edward Kenway, was to be auctioned off with all the funds raised going to the Starlight Children’s Foundation of Australia.

The auction has now concluded, and after 53 bids the portrait went for $1.225 AUD. I am not sure if this was a bargain price for the bidder, however I hope the funds raised go towards something worthy for a fantastic charity that benefits many children and teenagers across Australia each and every day.
