A new trailer has recently been uncovered for Tears to Tiara II: Descendants of the Overlord (Tears to Tiara II: Haou no Matsuei), the next installment in the Tears to Tiara tactical RPG series developed by Aquaplus for the Playstation 3.
Coming in at just over four minutes in length it focuses on a series of character introduction scenes alongside plenty of in-game footage and anime-style animation to be embedded throughout the game.
Tears to Tiara originated as an 18+ eroge tactical RPG developed by Leaf back in 2005. Since then Leaf have been working with Aquaplus in bringing a series of all-ages friendly tactical RPG’s to Playstation consoles. It also received an anime adaptation backed in 2009 which was subsequently picked up by Sentai Filmworks for international release. Unfortunately none of the video game iterations have been licensed outside of Japan.
Tears to Tiara II: Descendants of the Overlord is set for release in Japan on the 24th October 2013.
