In a couple of weeks time, fans of the original Kingdom Hearts games and newcomers alike will have the opportunity to relive the experience with the release of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX – a collection consisting of Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. To mark its impending release, Square Enix have launched a new trailer for two of the three games which can be viewed above.
The trailer features the unique card-based battle system from Re:Chain of Memories, carrying over from its original Gameboy Advance release that was later ported over to the Playstation 2 in Japan exclusively. The trailer also shows the transformation of the cinematic story scenes from the originally Nintendo DS title 358/2 Days. Assumingly due to the time it would take to port from the Nintendo DS to the Playstation 3, the original game has been transformed into a roughly three hour long film.
