You may recall that Ghostlight are currently doing their own rendition of a crowdfunding campaign for Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2, where the fate of the games release in PAL regions (Europe, Australia etc) lies in how many pre-orders they obtain.
In their last update on the Ghostlight official blog, it was teased that they might be able to release some exact statistics on just how many people had put their pre-orders in to date. As the campaign is now around the half-way point, they have released the details and as of a confirmation made around 20 minutes ago there have been 627 pre-orders.
While they indicated that this is a terrific response so far, given that they have two weeks remaining and another 1173 spots to fill… I am getting anxious about if this will end in success. The closing date for pre-orders is the 30th August 2013. After that…. it is anybody’s guess what will happen if they don’t hit the target (The most likely scenario is that there will be no release).
