Square Enix have recently released a brand new set of screenshots for their February 2014 release of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, the final installment in the FFXIII trilogy. One of the more notable inclusions of this latest albeit smaller set of screenshots for the game is the appearance of Hope Estheim – a party member of the first game and has since become the navigator and informant for Lightning in her quest.
Oddly enough, rather than his more mature appearance in Final Fantasy X-2, they have decided to give him an appearance closer to that of his 14-year old self from the first game – with almost identical attire as well. Is there a plot involved in him appearing younger than the last game? Time shall tell…
