Over the last couple of weeks Gust have been promoting their 15th Atelier title “Atelier Escha & Logy” with smaller and more specialized trailers – ranging from those with a character focus to those with a focus on a specific aspect of gameplay. Today, the company have launched a brand new trailer which looks at the game as a whole including gameplay, characters and animated cutscenes. It is a welcome change in my opinion.
Atelier Escha & Logy is set for release in Japan on the 27th June 2013 exclusively for the Playstation 3 platform, and is a sequel to Atelier Ayesha which takes place a couple of years into the future. While a handful of characters have been slated to return from Ayesha, a surprising omission so far is that of Ayesha herself – whereas in the Alchemists of Arland trilogy the lead alchemist always took on a supervising role of the next games lead.
