A fourth and final Brisbane performance of The Man From Snowy River In Concert has been announced following strong demand for the concert experience. The newly scheduled show will take place at 5.00pm on Sunday 28 September in the Concert Hall at QPAC.
This special presentation features Bruce Rowland’s award-winning score performed live by the Southern Cross Symphony, conducted by Peter Morris, while the iconic 1982 film plays on the big screen. The film stars Sigrid Thornton, Tom Burlinson, Jack Thompson, and Kirk Douglas, and is widely regarded as a landmark in Australian cinema, known for its portrayal of the country’s High Country landscape and spirit.
With three prior performances nearing sell-out, this fourth show marks the final opportunity for Brisbane audiences to experience the live concert version of the film. Tickets are now available via the Queensland Performing Arts Centre website, or by calling their box office team in 136 246.
The Brisbane season is the first in a tour of this concert, although Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth dates are still to be confirmed as of writing.
