Prospero Arts and the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) are offering audiences the opportunity to experience Dusty The Musical – In Concert for just $72, with a limited-time ticket offer running from until tomorrow.
Taking to the stage at the Concert Hall, QPAC from 5 to 8 June 2025, this concert presentation celebrates the life and career of Dusty Springfield, the British pop icon whose voice defined a generation. Tracing her journey from Mary O’Brien to international stardom, the musical features a line-up of Springfield’s greatest hits, including I Only Want To Be With You, Wishin’ and Hopin’, The Look of Love, and Son of a Preacher Man.
The production seeks to present a vibrant tribute to the Swinging Sixties, complete with period fashion, live music conducted by Brendan Murtagh, and musical supervision from David Young. Originally created by John-Michael Howson, David Mitchell, and Melvyn Morrow, the show has toured across Australia and now returns in a concert format for Brisbane audiences.
