With their Sydney season well and truly underway, the producers of Wicked the Musical has confirmed they’ve united with beauty brand M·A·C Cosmetics, which will see a number of activations, activities and opportunities take place in the coming months.
The partnership commenced today with a takeover of Myer’s Sydney City Flagship store (pictured to the left). Via the Myer activation, running until 2 October 2023, shoppers will have the opportunity to view some of Wicked’s costumes in the windows.
Additionally, this partnership will see M·A·C Cosmetics become the ‘official make up partner’ of Wicked, with their products used by the cast backstage. Between 22 and 24 September, interested people can head to the M·A·C counter at Myer Sydney City for a complimentary Lip Service to find your signature lip look, be it Elphaba or Glinda.
Commenting on this partnership, John Frost (Co-Producer on Wicked) shared the following:
I’m very excited that WICKED has partnered with such an iconic global brand as M·A·C in this unique partnership. With M·A·C products used by the WICKED cast backstage, it’s a perfect collaboration.
Wicked the Musical is currently being performed at the Sydney Lyric Theatre, and is expected to run until at least 31 December 2023. Additional extensions or legs of the new Australian tour have yet to be confirmed.
