The Listies & QPAC Plan to Have You Rolling on the Floor laughing About Bedtime

New announcements have started to roll out from the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) for their 2023 line-up! Today, the producer and venue has confirmed they are partnering up with comedic duo The Listies to bring their show R.O.F.L (Rolling on the Floor Laughing) to the Cremorne Theatre stage from Tuesday 28 March 2023 until Wednesday 5 April 2023 inclusive.

Pitched as a “bonkers sketch comedy extravaganza perfect for kids and adults alike”, R.O.F.L sets out for the duo to tackle a particularly tumultuous moment of everyday family life – bedtime. Rich, the exhausted parental proxy, is trying to get an early night while his hapless, hopeless housemate Matt deploys every trick in the book to stay up late.

R.O.F.L is being presented by the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, and is being produced by Critical Stages Touring. Tickets for the Brisbane season can now be booked by the QPAC website or calling their box office on 136 246, and are available at a flat rate of $39.00. However for groups of 2x adults and 2x children, a slightly reduced price of $34.00 pp is being offered. Performers Matthew Kelly and Richard Higgins, aka. The Listies will also be holding relaxed style meet & greets post-show for approximately 30 minutes each performance.

Originating as an absurdist adult comedy trio when forming in 2008, The Listies transitioned to full-time children’s comedy in 2011. To date, they have written and produced nine live shows, three albums, several books published by Penguin, and starred in ABC TV’s The Listies Work for Peanuts.

After a huge year getting back to communities across Australia, New Zealand, and the UK, it’s a delight to finally bring the hilarity of The Listies to QPAC, where we know families of all ages will be in stitches with this powerhouse kids’ entertainment duo
