Summer School Holiday Ticket Pre-Sales Commence for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Melbourne

Can you believe that we are already three-quarters of the way through 2022? With an extended period of time off for school students, and potentially a time of extended leave from work for adults, perhaps the summer school holiday period is an ideal time to get your theatre-fix in! For those typically with priority access to ticket sales, check your inboxes, as pre-sales for performances of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child are now available for sessions from Tuesday 20 December 2022 until Sunday 29 January 2023. The pre-sale period will run until 8.00am (AEDT) on Friday 30 September 2022, where tickets sales will be opened up to the general public.

As highlighted in my post last week, ‘5 Clever Ways of Buying Tickets to Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in Melbourne‘, there are many ways you can save money on your tickets, from The Victorian Entertainment Program giving you a 25% cashback to four-ticket packages. Furthermore, as of earlier this year, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is being presented as its ‘Magic Reimagined’ version, taking the original 2-session 4-part structure and adapting it into 1-session and 2-acts, making the experience more affordable than it initially was.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in my opinion is a must-see pilgrimage to Melbourne for any Harry Potter fan or lover of theatre, and the producers have confirmed many times in the past that the production will not be touring to any other Australian state. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is being presented in Australia exclusively at Melbourne’s Princess Theatre. The production is presented by Michael Cassel Group, Sonia Friedman Productions, Colin Callender and Harry Potter Theatrical Productions.
