Hamilton to Commence Brisbane Season at QPAC From January 2023

The wait is almost over. Australian producer Michael Cassel Group has today confirmed that their Australian production of the multi-award winning musical Hamilton will be performed in Brisbane starting 27 January 2023 in the Lyric Theatre, QPAC. Having had its inaugural season in Sydney and currently in the midst of its Melbourne season at Her Majesty’s Theatre, its current season will end shortly into the new year, before making the trek up to Queensland for this third leg of its Australian tour.

So what do we know? Tickets are set to enter pre-sales at 10.00am on Monday 5 September 2022 via the QPAC Website. This will run for a week, before general public sales commence on Monday 12 September 2022 at 9.00am. Pre-sale invites typically go through the normal channels, such as the QPAC Musicals Waitlist, the producers mailing list etc – although exact specifics are not available.

Tickets will run you between $70.00 at the cheaper end and $250.00 at the pricier end – with a higher price point indicating a more desirable seating location, performance date, time or any combination thereof.

While you can also watch the Hamilfilm via Disney+ for a fraction of the price, this is an exciting opportunity to watch one of the iconic musicals of the 2010s live, in-person, and with an Australian cast.
