New Brisbane Tickets Go On-Sale for 9 to 5 the Musical This Week

Keen to see 9 to 5 the Musical but looking to score yourself some of the best seats in the house? While the show is still a few months away from its Brisbane season, and as we have seen in the past few years, that is a long time away in terms of the ongoing pandemic, those looking to nab themselves great tickets may want to keep an eye on the QPAC website this week. New tickets for performances up to 12 June 2022 are set to enter pre-sale tomorrow, with general public on-sale set to start Friday 11 February 2022.

The Brisbane season of 9 to 5 the Musical is set to commence at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre’s (QPAC) Lyric Theatre from 22 May 2022. Tickets are available from $69.00 (excl. any transaction fees), with higher prices indicating more popular sessions, better seating reserves and more. Tickets can be acquired by following the links on the official 9 to 5 the Musical website, or by calling the lovely folks at QTIX on 136 246.

9 to 5 the Musical, based on the original film by Dolly Parton, tells the story of Doralee, Violet and Judy, three enterprising workmates pushed to the edge by their mean-spirited boss Franklin Hart Jnr. Resorting to wit, comradery and cunning, they dream up a no holds barred scheme to kidnap and turn the tables on their controlling supervisor in the most hilariously defiant of ways. The only question is, will the feisty trio manage to change the office culture to reach their full potential – or will events unravel when the CEO pays an unexpected visit?

The lead cast of 9 to 5 the Musical’s Australian season includes Marina Prior as Violet Newstead, a smart, sassy and efficient woman who has worked all her life at Consolidated Industries. She has all it takes to run the company but there is one small issue … her boss! Casey Donovan will be Judy Bernly, a newly separated, never worked before young woman who finds more than just a job at Consolidated Industries. Erin Clare plays Doralee Rhodes, a ‘don’t mess with me’ well-brought-up, bright and beautiful country gal. She may look like a push over but is anything but! Caroline O’Connor will be busy-body Roz Keith, the administration assistant who is fiercely – and unrequitedly – in love with her boss, while Eddie Perfect will play the controlling boss Franklin Hart Jnr.

Completing the cast are Lily BaulderstoneAna Maria Belo, Zoe Coppinger, Mia Dabkowski-Chandler, Ben Gillespie, Emma Hawthorne, James Haxby, Emma Johns, Jay Johns, Ethan Jones, Antonia Marr, Josh Mulheran, Tom New, Jake O’Brien, Matthew Prime, Jackson Reedman, Jordan Tomljenovic and Jessica Vellucci.

We’re thrilled with our hugely talented cast, led by Marina, Casey, Erin, Caroline and Eddie. 9 TO 5 is in full swing – rehearsals are underway, the orchestra practicing the score, technicians getting the set ready to be bumped into the theatre, and the box office selling tickets to excited audiences. Forget the Covid blues and join us for 9 TO 5. It will be the most fun you’ll have all year!
