Come From Away Returns to Sydney’s Capitol Theatre from 20 October

After a false start in opening at Sydney’s Capitol Theatre back in June, only to be cancelled two weeks later, the producers of Come From Away’s Australian tour has confirmed the musical will return to the venue starting Wednesday 20 October 2021. The show will commence following the current advice from the New South Wales Government around a 75% capacity limit. However, with just how rampant COVID-19 has spread throughout the state these last few months, this could change prior to recommencing.

With the latest reporting indicating that New South Wales is still getting around 1000 COVID-19 cases a day, it may sound a bit weird or even uncomfortable going to any performing arts venue at the moment – especially one so crowded.

COME FROM AWAY | WE'RE BACK

While people should return to performing arts venues at their own pace (and Come from Away on Apple Plus is divine!), the producers have confirmed the following around additional precautions of stopping the spread:

Proof of full Covid-19 vaccination will be required to enter the venue for all patrons 16 years and over, in line with NSW Government policy, and COME FROM AWAY has a mandatory vaccination requirement for all employees and contractors.
