When the Queensland Government first began loosening COVID-19 restrictions, the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) capitalised on this opportunity to at the very least start engaging with the community once more. One of the ways they safely accomplished this was through Club Cremorne, a set of intimate cabaret-style events featuring local talent held in their limited-capacity Cremorne Theatre. If you missed the chance to enjoy once of these events the first time, whether due to capacity, finances or concern about COVID-19, an encore season is due to commence in mere weeks.

QPAC boasts that they will be transforming the “Cremorne Theatre into a world of laughs, lust, loops, and looseness” through a number of Club Cremorne events run from 28 January 2021 until 6 March 2021 inclusive. Guests will be able to enjoy live entertainment, along with a range of nibbles and signature cocktails – guided by Brisbane-based comedian Damien Power through a cornucopia of guest performers.

What artists can you expect to see this time around? The line-up may vary night by night, but includes the versatile beatbox guru, Tom Thum, bewitching burlesque star, Jacqueline Furey and Circus Company 2 (featuring Chelsea McGuffin, Danik Abeshev, and Phoebe Armstrong). New acts will also be featured in this season of Club Cremorne, including Sachém – a spoken word poet, rapper and emerging singer.

Performances will run from 28 January 2021 until 6 March 2021, with four performances weekly on Thursday (1x performance), Friday (1x performance) and Saturday (2x performances). Ticket pricing ranges from $64.00 to $74.00 based on whether you purchase a seat in the stalls or balcony. Seating is divvied up into sets of two to four around each table.
