Pre-Christmas Performances of Pippin and Frozen in Sydney Cancelled

The Circus and Ice Tower are closed for the next few days...

Whelp, with another major cluster of COVID-19 forming in Sydney’s major beaches, it means that the performing arts industry is being thrown for a loop. Following new recommendations being introduced by the New South Wales government, Foundation Theatres together with Disney Theatrical Productions and the Gordon Frost Organisation have announced scheduling changes for their major musicals – Frozen the Musical and Pippin.

Effective immediately, the following performances have been confirmed as cancelled:

Pippin the Musical | Sydney Lyric Theatre

Tuesday, 22 December @ 1pm
Tuesday, 22 December @ 7pm
Wednesday, 23 December @ 1pm
Wednesday, 23 December@ 7:30pm

Frozen the Musical | Capitol Theatre

Tuesday, 22 December @ 6:30pm
Wednesday, 23 December @ 1pm
Wednesday, 23 December @ 7pm
Thursday, 24 December @ 1pm

All patrons booked into any of these eight performances have already been contacted about the cancellation, and will have their tickets either rescheduled for a later date or refunded. Post-Christmas performances are still slated to go forward, but these are being reviewed against the ever-changing situation.
