QPAC to Provide More Detail Around Future Performances Tomorrow 1

After cancelling all performances over the weekend amid the COVID-19 outbreak, the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) have provided an updated statement to their patrons. This confirmed they will be in a position to provide more detailed advice regarding future programming across their venues tomorrow (Tuesday 17 March 2020).

The next fortnight is due to be a busy one across the centre. Their line-up includes concerts such as Sondheim on Sondheim and Rolling Thunder Vietnam, the opening of major musical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and a tribute event to recently passed founding director of QPAC Tony Gould AM DUniv.

My thoughts go out to all performers, creatives, crew and professional staff who may be affected by the ongoing COVID-19 complications, which have seen many venues and festivals across Australia shut down already.
