An Unbubblievable Show is Soon to Arrive in Australia – Gazillion Bubble Show

-

Travelling direct from Broadway to the shores of Australia, the Gazillion Bubble Show is set to kick off its first ever Australian tour starting next month. The audience for this show’s Aussie première will be children attending the biennial Out of the Box Festival in Brisbane, with it to be held at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre’s (QPAC) Concert Hall from June 23rd to 27th.

The Australian tour will star internationally acclaimed bubble artist, Melody Yang, who will show just how magical an experience bubbles can offer. For over three decades, the Yang family have explored the unknown world of soap bubbles, combining entertainment, art and science into one show. Their imagination and experimentation has lead to something which has so far been seen be 22 million people, and will likely have that number boosted during its several-week Australian tour.

Melody Yang | Gazillion Bubble Show

Our passion is encouraging children to express their creativity and use their imagination through the magic and science of bubbles. “We are looking forward to interacting with children and families both as part of Out of the Box and in theatres across Australia, inviting them to be a part of this exciting and entertaining experience showcasing mind-blowing bubble magic.

Brett Howe | Out of the Box 2016 Festival Director

The show invites children to step into an interactive bubble world, with spellbinding lasers, spectacular lighting effects and jaw-dropping masterpieces of bubble artistry. Gazillion Bubble Show is unlike anything Australian audiences will have seen before and is bound to be a highlight at Out of the Box in Brisbane and for audiences in Canberra, Sydney and Adelaide.

The Gazillion Bubble Show is set to kick-off at QPAC on June 23rd and run until June 27th. Tickets for the approximately 60 minute show can be booked online or through the QPAC box office, with seats available for $39-49 depending on seat preference. There is also a discounted A-Reserve seating rate for groups of six or more ($30), and a special price for school groups ($20).

Following Brisbane, Gazillion Bubble Show will be headed to the Canberra Theatre Centre from July 1st – 4th July, followed by a run at Theatre Royal (Sydney) from July 7th – 10th. Unless additional sessions are announced at a later date, the show’s run will conclude at the Adelaide Festival Theatre, with shows running from July 14th – 17th.
