Harvest Rain Takes QPAC Into The Woods Starting Today

-

Although I personally think that their incredibly comical performance of The Pirates of Penzance will be very challenging to beat, Harvest Rain Theatre Company are set to take guests at QPAC Into the Woods for four days only – beginning today and concluding on Sunday October 4 2015.

Rather than acquaint guests with a gang of comical pirates and modern Major General, Harvest Rain will be taking them into the forest with renown fairy take characters albeit with a new storyline. This production comes after Disney released their live-action film adaptation of the stage musical, with some promotional material from Harvest Rain running with the subtitle “You’ve Seen the film, now experience the magic live on stage”.

This new stage production of Into the Woods stars Eddie Perfect (The Baker), Rachael Beck (The Baker’s Wife), Rhonda Burchmore (The Witch), Georgina Hopson (Cinderella), Tom Oliver (Jack), Penny Farrow (Jack’s Mother), Kimberley Hodgson (Little Red Riding Hood) and Natalie Greet (Rapunzel) among other talent.

Into the Woods is set to run from October 1st to 4th at the QPAC Concert Hall, with only six sessions being held during this period. Ticket prices range from $69 to $119 per seat, with prices dependent on seating preference.
