QPAC Celebrate Being First Australian Performing Arts Centre on Google Cultural Institute Service

-

10968218_10152757980703510_7584893087892686830_nThe Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) have today announced that they have become the first Australian performing arts centre to share content via the Google Culture Institute service. Furthermore, they and the Queensland Museum are currently the only two Queensland cultural organisations to be selected for the Australian launch of the Institute. This will allow anyone around the world to explore parts of the culture offered by both venues.

QPAC’s contribution includes a brief background and history of the centre that celebrates its 30th Anniversary this year. Visitors to QPAC on the Google Cultural Institute can and will in the future be able to view galleries of images from QPAC’s signature events; Out of the Box, Clancestry, and the QPAC International Series. As Queensland is a fairly large state in Australia, this will allow everyone to get a glimpse of the centre, even if they cannot make it to the venue themselves.

For those looking to check out either Queensland exhibit on the Google Culture Institute or any other around the world for that matter – check out the official website HERE.
