TRIGGER, the in-universe idol group from the Idolish7 franchise, has released its third original album titled Trois, now available via physical and digital formats. The album, which launched on 12 March 2025, is thematically based on the concept Lueur des Trois (“The Light of Three”), and is divided into three musical movements: Origine, Passion, and Scène.
Each section is introduced by a unique instrumental track titled “Prelude: Lueur des Trois,” composed and arranged by Hiroto Kikuchi. The subsequent tracks in each movement reflect various facets of TRIGGER’s journey — from their beginnings, through their emotional growth, to their performance on stage.
Some of the notable tracks include “Triple Down,” a progressive dance piece produced by Ryo Takahashi with lyrics by R・O・N., and “Sol,” an electronic track composed by Taiki Kudo of the dance vocal group Da-iCE.
A special limited first edition of the album includes a bonus CD featuring an original violin suite, Suites pour violon seul ‘Trois’, composed by Yuma Ito. This suite reinterprets motifs from each of the three movements. Also included is a remix of the lead track titled “Triple Down -VC’s ‘Hermetic Art’ UKG Remix-,” and an acrylic stand featuring newly drawn artwork by manga artist Arina Tanemura. Both the limited and standard editions include jacket visuals illustrated by Tanemura.
