From homages to tracks from the 8-part film series with familiar le motifs, to brand new music created exclusively for the game, Hogwarts Legacy offers the ears of Wizarding World franchise fans much to enjoy. Following the game’s official release a few days back, WarnerTower Music has announced that two soundtracks are now available to listen to via select streaming platforms, digital purchase and on vinyl – comprising a total of 75 tracks between them.
Each respective album contains a completely different set of songs from the other. The first of these is simply titled The Hogwarts Legacy (Original Video Game Soundtrack). The vinyl configuration is currently offered as a preorder via Mondo, and is scheduled to ship in late spring. Unfortunately, it turns out that both the gold and black vinyl versions are now unavailable to pre-order. The album features 34 tracks, including the previously released “Overture To The Unwritten”, “A Proper Hogwarts Welcome”, “Ollivander’s Wand Shop”, “Ranrok’s Rage”, “Isidora’s Pain”, “Guardians Awaken”, “The Halls of Hogwarts” and more.
The second soundtrack, to be digital-exclusive, is titled Hogwarts Legacy (Study Themes from the Original Video Game Soundtrack). Available for digital purchase and through select streaming platforms, it features 41 tracks more suited to the ‘study’ theme, including “Sorting Hat Ceremony”, “Gringotts Vault”, “Gryffindor Common Room”, “Hufflepuff Common Room”, “Ravenclaw Common Room”, “Slytherin Common Room”, and “Hall Of The Keepers” and more. We feel so unbelievably lucky, privileged, and grateful to be a part of the amazing team behind Hogwarts Legacy. So many talented and brilliant people have poured their hearts and minds into this game – made by fans for fans. It is so impressive on a multitude of levels. The moment you step foot inside these great halls of Hogwarts, you can sense the love and passion that each person involved gave to this project. It’s an experience like no other. It is our sincere hope that fans of Hogwarts Legacy will experience the joy, the awe, and the magic we felt when immersing ourselves into the game and its music. We’re excited to see players’ reactions as they see and hear this world for themselves.
