The orchestra had a Zoom rehearsal with me where we talked through the music and I described exactly what I wanted from each of my players…and the singers and I even had a session together, where we studied the pronunciation of the game’s ‘Dragon’ language. Their individual parts were recorded on their phones and then sent to myself and my wonderful sound engineer (Haig Burnell), who added his special touch of magic by blending them together seamlessly, to make an incredible symphonic sound. And, as you’ll see, some of my musicians really got into the spirit, by dressing up and adding Skyrim backgrounds to their Zoom rooms!
