In celebration of Batman Day and the 85th anniversary of Batman’s debut, DC and Warner Bros. Discovery Australia have teamed up with Uber to offer free rides in the iconic Batmobile for a limited time. Fans in Sydney and Adelaide will have the chance to experience this unique opportunity by booking a ride via the Uber app, with availability on a first come, first served basis.
The Batmobile will be available in Sydney on Friday, 20 and Saturday, 21 September 2024, and in Adelaide on Friday, 27 and Saturday, 28 September 2024, between 11am and 3pm local time. Rides are free, and fans can book them within a 5km radius of the CBD in each city. However, bookings are limited to one passenger per ride.
In addition to Batmobile rides, fans unable to book a trip can still enjoy Batman Day with a variety of events and activities across Australia. These include family activations at selected Vicinity Centres, Batman in Concert, and the latest Batman merchandise at retailers like BIG W, Australia Post, and ZING Pop Culture.
