The Elden Ring: Official Art Book to be Localised and Published by Udon Entertainment in Mid-2023

One of the biggest hits of 2022, walking away with The Game Awards Best Game of 2022 award (among likely countless others from the gaming media over the next few weeks), Elden Ring by FROMSoftware and Bandai Namco Entertainment truly deserves all the accolades it received. For those wanting to enjoy some of the concept artwork and the journey into the making of the game, there is an Art Book series by Kadokawa Game Linkage. Only problem is… it is only available in Japanese. Until mid-2023 at least.

Localiser and publisher Udon Entertainment has confirmed they will be releasing  English-language localized editions of Elden Ring: Official Art Book Volume 1 and Volume 2 in Hardcover format in Summer, 2023. This follow’s the publishers previous work on artbooks around Dark Souls, Dark Souls II, Bloodborne and more. Below is what the publisher had to say about these books:

The two-volume Elden Ring: Official Art Book contains a plethora of artworks from the game’s ‘Lands Between’ and its inhabitants in stunning oversized hardcover editions. Volume 1 features key art from the game’s opening movie, concept and development art of the large open-world and claustrophobic dungeons, and the game’s many characters and armors. Volume 2 includes stunning art of the foes great and small that threaten to end the player’s journey, the weapons used to slay them, and even a list of the many items found within the game… very useful for dedicated fans!

Both Elden Ring: Official Art Book Volume 1 and Elden Ring: Official Art Book Volume 2 will be available for $59.99 USD apiece in hardcover format, and will be available at select brick-and-mortar and online retailers. Expect to hear more about these volumes in the coming months.
