The final chapter of My Hero Academia‘s anime adaptation is set to begin this October, with the series entering its concluding arc under the title My Hero Academia Final Season. The announcement was made by Toho Co., Ltd. during AnimeJapan 2025 in Tokyo, where a new teaser trailer (below) and key visual (to the left) were unveiled to mark the occasion.
My Hero Academia Final Season will be available to stream worldwide (excluding Asia) on Crunchyroll, with episodes released weekly, on the same day as their broadcast in Japan.
Naomi Nakayama will return as director following her work on Season 7 in 2024. The anime continues to adapt the manga created by Kohei Horikoshi, which concluded its run in Weekly Shonen Jump in August 2024. Series composition remains under the direction of Yosuke Kuroda, who has worked on the anime since its inception. Animation production will again be handled by studio BONES, known for their work on series such as Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Mob Psycho 100, and Bungo Stray Dogs – and of course, every other season of My Hero Academia.
