New PV Trailer for Ragna Crimson 2nd Cour Released, Japanese Blu-ray Details Confirmed

Following the anime adaptation commencing broadcasting in October this year with a season of 12-episodes, Ragna Crimson is set to commence streaming its second season (titled Ragna Crimson 2nd Cour) in Japan and internationally via streaming services starting 13 January 2024.

To mark this impending release, a new preview trailer (PV5) has been shared via King Amusement Creative’s official Youtube channel, providing a 2 minute sneak peek at what lies ahead for viewers next month.

In the latest trailer […] you can enjoy a powerful video that foreshadows the intensity of the war with the Winged Blood Clan, which has finally begun. Staria shows overwhelming charisma and leads the Silver Armored Corps against the dragon. At the same time as the success of Ragna and Crimson, who stand on the battlefield with her, we also feel the power of the opposing enemy, and the battle unfolds on an unprecedented scale.

In addition to the trailer being released, as of today, Ragna Crimson Episodes 1-4 “The Birth of the Grim Reaper” are now streaming for free, for a limited time, via the same Youtube channel.

Written by Daiki Kobayashi and published in the monthly magazine “Gangan JOKER” by Square Enix, “Ragna Crimson” tells the story of Ragna, a boy who has inherited the strongest power and the mission of the “dragon hunter” from his future self, challenges the absolutely powerful dragons that threaten humanity together with his deadliest partner, Crimson.

While an official English-language release from North American licensor Sentai will still be a way off, it has been confirmed what the show’s Japanese Limited Edition Blu-ray Box I collection will feature, coming in at a whopping 29,700 Yen (post-tax) and featuring all 12 episodes. Across two discs, each featuring 6 episodes apiece, purchasers can also look forward to a small selection of on-disc extras including:
