The Castle of Cagliostro Feature Film Joins AnimeLab Line-Up

A sometimes underappreciated film which served as the directorial debut of legendary Japanese animated film director Hayao Miyazaki, Madman Entertainment has added The Castle of Cagliostro onto their AnimeLab video-on-demand streaming service. As with virtually all movies on the platform, this is only available to those who have a Premium subscription to the service.

At this point in time, The Castle of Cagliostro appears to be a permanent fixtured to the AnimeLab library, unlike many recent films which have been streamable for only a limited time. The entire 1 hour 39 minute film can be enjoyed with either the original Japanese audio w/ English subtitles or with English voiceovers. This is a pre-Studio Ghibli era production, so if you are new to The Castle of Cagliostro, expect something a little bit different from the usual styles from Miyazaki, although you will find many of his trademark styles to this day throughout the film.
