With 2013 being their very first full year in the Australian anime market, Hanabee Entertainment published a number of fantastic anime releases to the ANZ market – with three being nominated for my “Australian Anime Release of the Year 2013”. While two didn’t make the final three, Bakemonogatari did manage to walk away with a “Bronze” award in this category.
Between The Otaku’s Study and another major anime news / review website Capsule Computers, four titles were nominated for an award – with Lupin the Third: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine being a shared nominee across both sites. To celebrate this accomplishment, Hanabee are taking $10 off each of these “critically acclaimed” titles as part of a “Best of 2013” sale.
The price changes are as follows:
Bakemonogatari Part 1 (DVD) – $39.99
Bakemonogatari Part 1 (Blu-ray) – $39.99
