On the 12th July 2013, the first episode of Neptune the Animation (or in full: Choujigen Game Neptune: The Animation) is set to air in Japan. This is an anime adaptation of the video game series Hyperdimension Neptunia, which currently spanning three games on the Playstation 3 has been successful to warrant these releases not only in Japan but also internationally thanks to the crew at Nippon Ichi Software America.

Via the anime series official site, two brand new key visuals have been released for the series. Above is the “sisters” key visual that focuses on the four CPU Candidates (Nepgear, Uni, Rom and Ram) who were main characters in Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2, the original sequel. This reinforces that these characters will most probably not just be side characters as what happened to three of them during Neptunia Victory.

Below is a amalgamation of the first two key art’s, highlighting both the CPU Goddess’ and CPU Candidates. While both IF and Compa are included in the background, other recently confirmed characters such as 5pb were not, meaning the appearance of other company personifications may very well be possible. At the very least I hope to see both Gust and Nisa appear considering they joined IF and Compa as the original company personifications.
