Last 2011 saw Madman Entertainment remove their listing for Azumanga Daioh off their website, assumingly indicating the end of their license to the show and meaning that new copies in Australia have become scarce. Despite that, as I mentioned in my article almost a year ago “A Subtle Hint at Madman Entertainment Re-releasing Azumanga Daioh or Just An Error in Print?” the series trailer had appeared in the companies release of Hetalia – Paint it White meaning there was some possibility of it returning on store shelves at a later date.
The good news is signs are pointing towards a return of this anime series by Madman Entertainment, with a complete series release potentially available in April 2013 (We should know more when April 2013 pre-orders open on the 1st February).
Get ready for a serious lesson in laughter!
