North American publisher of anime Sentai Filmworks have today announced that the anime series Majikoi ~ Oh! Samurai Girls is on sale on both DVD and Blu-ray. Based on the PC game Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai!! from MinatoSoft, the 12 episode series focuses on a city where almost everyone has a Samurai obsession.
The series comes in at approximately 300 minutes in length and includes both an English and Japanese dub. The DVD edition will set you back approximately $59.98 while the Blu-ray version will set you back an extra ten dollars at $69.98.
In Kawakami City, having a samurai ancestor and enormous fighting spirit isn’t just an interesting historical fact; it’s a huge part of how you end up being ranked on the social totem pole.
